NHMA's 80th Annual Conference and Exhibition

This year's conference theme is appropriately titled, PROGRESS THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS

Please join us on Wednesday, November 17 through Friday, November 19 for this unique conference experience presented in a hybrid format.

 annual conference theme

NHMA is excited to announce the dates of Wednesday through Friday, November 17-19 for the 80th Annual Conference and Exhibition at the DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Manchester. Our theme this year is “Progress Through Partnerships.”

NHMA plans this annual event months in advance, so with uncertainty about the status of COVID-19 in the fall, we are bringing the conference to our members and attendees in a new hybrid format—both for safety and convenience.

With this hybrid format, the first day will be held live and in-person at the DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Manchester with video streaming of popular program sessions to members who chose to attend virtually. Thursday will be a full day of virtual streaming of educational sessions and Friday will be a half-day of remote streaming of educational sessions.

Why this new hybrid format? Well, we know that after a year of virtual meetings, many municipal officials and exhibitors are anxious to network, learn, and meet face-to-face again. But we also know that some officials and exhibitors may be hesitant to attend in person due to the degree of uncertainty how things may be in November. With this new format, NHMA is able to provide the same high-quality educational training opportunities for those members and exhibitors who wish to attend live, and in-person, as well as those members and exhibitors who wish to participate virtually from the convenience of their home or office.

Either way, whether live and in person or virtually, we hope you join us this year!

 COVID-19 Terms & Conditions

(If You Plan to Join Us IN-PERSON on Wednesday, November 17th at the DoubleTree By Hilton Downtown Manchester Hotel, Please Read Prior to Registering)

We are planning to hold our Annual Conference and Exhibition in-person on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 with certain safety protocols and strategies in place. Since YOUR health and safety is our greatest concern, at this time, due to the substantial transmission of COVID-19 in New Hampshire and recommendations from the CDC and NH DHHS, everyone (including sponsors and exhibitors) will be required to wear a mask indoors, regardless of their vaccination status. You may remove your mask while actively eating or drinking, but please put it back on when finished. If CDC guidelines and NHDHHS recommendations change closer to the conference, or if the transmission of COVID-19 becomes more stable, masks may become optional. Attendees will also have to abide by the health and safety protocols set in place by the DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Manchester Hotel in November, which may change at any time. Measures will be taken throughout the Exhibit Hall, session rooms and conference events to keep attendees at a safe distance to the extent possible. Participants are also encouraged to maintain appropriate social distancing and forgo handshakes and other forms of physical contact.

In addition to the facemask requirement, NHMA is requesting that all participants (sponsors, exhibitors and attendees) be vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of attending the conference. NHMA is relying on the honor system in making this request and appreciates your cooperation to ensure a safe experience for all of us. As a reminder, anyone feeling sick or displaying symptoms of COVID-19, or who has been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, should refrain from attending the conference.

Please be aware we are continuously monitoring the COVID-19 situation and may adjust conference setup and protocols accordingly.
