An informative session for municipal officials new and seasoned to local welfare administrators.

Registration and Continental breakfast begin at 9:00 a.m. Lunch will be provided.

Cost: $45.00
Attendees will receive a copy of NHMA’s 2019 edition of The Art of Welfare Administration.

Pre-registration is required one week prior to the workshop.
If you register and do not attend and do not cancel within 48 hours prior, you will still be charged the cost of the workshop which covers meals, materials and administrative processing fees.

9:30 a.m. The Art of Welfare
This session provides a basic overview of New Hampshire law governing local welfare administration, including: ensuring access to the local welfare official, reimbursement and recovery of welfare expenditures & dispute resolution among municipalities. This session also will address municipal work programs, fair hearings, suspension of assistance, and more.

Members of the NH Local Welfare Administrator's Association will address your cases and questions regarding the practice of the Art of Welfare.
