Principles of Employment Law Workshop - You Must Login to Register

This workshop will be held in a hybrid format - In person attendance option and a virtual attendance option in zoom*.

In person location: NHMA Offices, 25 Triangle Park Drive, Concord, NH 03301.  In person attendance is limited to 60 people. 

NHMA Member Registration Fee: $199.00

8:30 AM Registration and Continental Breakfast.  Lunch will be provided.

Drummond Woodsum is presenting a one-day lecture series addressing the most pressing labor and employment laws impacting New Hampshire public employers. The goal of the program is to provide town, city, and county managers, supervisors, HR professionals, and Board members with the practical knowledge and skills they need to handle the unique employment challenges facing public employers. 

The topics covered will include employee requests for leaves of absence and other workplace accommodations, discrimination and harassment concerns, wage and hour issues, employee investigations and discipline, union considerations, and more. The number of laws impacting the public sector employment relationship can be overwhelming.  If you hire, manage, or supervise employees in your city, town, or county, join us to enhance your understanding of these laws and how they impact your work.

Materials such as the PowerPoint presentation an will also be distributed electronically. No print outs of the materials or hard copies will be provided.

Pre-registration and payment is required.  Registration is available until 5:00 pm on April 8, 2025. Registrations after this time cannot be guaranteed.  You will be billed according to the pricing on the options you select at registration. If you wish to make changes, NHMA must be notified in writing at least 48 hours in advance. Refund of the full registration fee will be made if cancellation notification is received 48 hours in advance. Cancellation less than 48 hours in advance, including no-shows, will result in you being charged the full cost of the workshop.
