Water Treatment Plant Chief Operator

The Laconia Water Department, located in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire is seeking an individual for the position of Water Treatment Plant Chief Operator to direct the activities of the Treatment Division including a 6-million gallon per day Neptune Trident treatment system and all related storage tanks and booster stations. A thorough knowledge of all State and Federal Drinking Water Regulations and strong written and oral communication is required. Applicant must possess a NH Grade III treatment license or the ability to obtain one within a year.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 4 years of progressively responsible experience including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
