Truck Driver

Town of Littleton, NH has an anticipated opening for Full Time Truck Driver for the Highway Department  

Applications are now being accepted for an anticipated opening of a full time Truck Driver position.  Applicants will have the responsibility to operate 6- or 10-wheel dump trucks, plow trucks, sanders, other light equipment and hand tools. 

Qualifications include:  a valid NH CDL B driver’s license with a clean driving record.  Starting hourly rate $17.68 to $19.04/hour with benefits (Union Position).  Job description is available upon request. 

This position involves working in North Country weather conditions plowing snow, hauling snow and spreading salt and sand.  During the summer, work will include operating trucks hauling materials, brush and debris cleanup, road maintenance, street construction and minor vehicle repairs. You may need to assist with sewer system maintenance and repairs as needed. This position can be physical in nature. 

Drivers must be available for call-ins, call-backs and OT during the winter, emergencies, highway construction and sewer field operations.
