Surplus Equipment

Sealed bids will be received on surplus Town equipment until 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 26,

2019 at the Town Administrator’s Office, George B. White Building, 8 Raymond Road, Deerfield, NH 03037. Sealed bids must be on the proper bid form provided by the Town, one item per form per envelope. The envelope must have the Bidder's Name, Item number and "Town 2019 Surplus Equipment Sale" printed on the outside of the envelope.

Paper copies of the Bid Packet may be obtained from the Town Clerk's Office during business hours. Inspection of items may be arranged by contacting the respective department at the phone numbers shown on the surplus equipment list and scheduling an appointment.

Sampling of Items Offered 

2010 Chevrolet Impala; 2002 Ford E250 Cargo Van; Ice Auger, Garage Doors; Electric Cords; Portable pumps; 110 Gallon Poly Water Tank; 3” Fire Hose; Metal “Indian Tanks” for fire fighting

All items will be sold in "as is, where is" condition, no warranties expressed or implied.

Minimum bids may be listed on some items.

The Town reserves the right, when in its best interest, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities.

Purchased items must be paid for and removed within five working days of the bid opening.

PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO AVOID HAVING YOUR BID REJECTED.

·       Only 1 bid item per sheet, printed legibly or typed.

·       Only 1 bid sheet per envelope.

·       The envelope shall be sealed and include the following information printed on the

·       outside of the envelope:

·       Bidder’s name and address

·       “Town of Deerfield 2019 Surplus Equipment Sale”

·       Bid Item Number and Item Name

·       Sealed bids may be hand delivered or mailed to the Town Administrator, Town of Deerfield, 8 Raymond Road, Deerfield, NH prior to the bid closing of 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2019.

·       Bids must be received at the Town Administrator’s office prior to the bid closing deadline to be considered responsive.

·       The Town Administrator’s Office will not write bidder’s information on the envelope on behalf of the bidder.
