Police Officer (Part-time)

The Chester Police Department is seeking motivated, hardworking applicants of exceptional character for the position of part time and auxiliary police officer(s). Candidates must be at least 18 years old and must have high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license and excellent communication and writing skills. Must have ability to meet current requirements set forth by the Police Standards and Training Council for the State of NH (NHPSTC).

Preference will be afforded to those candidates already certified by NHPSTC or whose out-of-state police certification would be recognized by NHPSTC. Applicants may be required to pass a written exam, physical agility test, oral board interviews, psychological testing, extensive background investigation and medical examination.   Closing date is August 31, 2019 or until the position(s) are filled.
