Police Officer

The New Hampton Police Department is seeking a full-time police officer.

New Hampton is a small community in Belknap County, and we are seeking a community-oriented officer to be part of our professional and progressive department. The Town of New Hampton offers an outstanding benefits package that includes medical, dental and life insurance.

Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications for certification set forth by the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council. Applicants must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, understand administration direction and work effectively with both the public and other department members. Must be willing to work overnight shifts, weekends and holidays.

Certified and non-certified officers are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to Full Time Certified Police Officer applicants. 

Salary commensurate with experience ranging from $20.00-$25.00
