The Town of Effingham, NH (approximate population 1,830) is seeking a motivated and qualified candidate to serve as the Police Patrol Officer.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to build a respected department, earning the confidence of residents, community organizations, and surrounding municipalities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enforce State Laws and Town Ordinances
- Follow Departmental policies, procedures, and training programs
- Oversee Training, if required.
- Coordinate with Mutual Aid and Regional Law Enforcement Cooperation
- Acts as the Department’s representative to the Public and other agencies
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current New Hampshire Police Officer Certification
- Excellent Communication Skills and Writing Skills
- Ability to meet and maintain all certification, fitness, and continuing education requirements
- Valid Driver’s License and successful completion of a background investigation
Compensation of Benefits:
Compensation will be dependent based on experience.
