Municipal Clerk
The Town of Belmont is seeking a full-time Clerk in the Town Clerk/Tax Collector’s office. Some duties include vehicle registration transactions, vital records, marriage licensing, dog licensing, opening mail, processing tax, water & sewer payments, and reconciling. Perform complex technical and clerical work assisting the Town Clerk/Tax Collector and co-workers. Strong customer service skills and interest in working to build a strong teamwork environment is a must. 3-5 years’ experience in dealing with the public and some bookkeeping is preferred. The individual must have a high school diploma or equivalent combination of experience and skills. Ability to multitask, and familiarity with computers and common software programs.
