INVITATION TO BID
The Town of Pelham will receive sealed Bids for MAMMOTH ROAD AT SHERBURNE ROAD TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENTS until 2:00 PM on November 14, 2024 at the Town of Pelham municipal building at 6 Village Green, Pelham, NH, 03076, attention Jennifer Beauregard, Planning Director, at which time and place they will be opened and publicly read.
This Federally funded project includes constructing a roundabout at the above-named intersection and includes roadway reconstruction, closed drainage, curbing, utility coordination, electrical conduit and lighting foundations, minor landscaping, traffic signage and pavement markings, temporary traffic control, and other associated work to facilitate construction. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope that is plainly marked:

https://www.pelhamweb/bids. Plans and specifications are not available in hard copy.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cash, check drawn by a New Hampshire bank, or bid bond for and subject to conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The amount of such bid deposit shall be ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to the Town of Pelham, New Hampshire.
A non-mandatory pre-bid informational meeting will be held at 9:00 AM on November 4, 2024, at the Town of Pelham municipal building at 6 Village Green, Pelham, NH, 03076.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a separate payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed in writing or email to the ENGINEER;

Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda. The Bidders are responsible for checking the above website for all project updates including all Addenda. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof, to waive any formality, informality, information or errors in the proposal, to accept the proposal considered to be in the best interest of the Town, or to purchase on the open market if it is considered in the best interest of the Town to do so. Failure to submit all information called for and/or submission of an unbalanced proposal are sufficient reasons to declare a proposal as non-responsive and subject to disqualification.
