Description:

The Town of Deering Highway Department has a Full-Time vacancy for a Light Equipment Operator. It is preferred that qualified applications have a CDL B with airbrakes endorsement - but NOT required. The qualified candidate must be able to operate or learn to operate a Loader, Backhoe, Road Grader, and run this equipment in severe conditions of heat, cold, wet, snow, and ice. Must have at least 2 years of experience running light equipment, winter plowing, or equitable practice. The Town of Deering has a pre-employment drug screening and random drug testing policy.
