Land Use Technician (Part-time)
The Town of Tilton, NH is accepting applications for the part-time position of Land Use Technician. The Town seeks a qualified individual to perform responsible administrative, technical, and customer service functions requiring the exercise of judgement, the ability to interpret guidelines and to carry out assignments independently. This position reports directly to the Land Use Coordinator. The primary responsibilities will be to assist the Land Use Coordinator and the Code Enforcement Officer with: data entry, filing, processing building permits, prepare abutter notifications, input of assessing data, and customer service. Potential for additional duties and responsibilities based on an individual’s skills and experience.
The position is part-time, 16 hours a week with a flexible schedule.
High school diploma or GED, and two years of progressively responsible clerical or administrative experience, or any combination of education, training and experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job.
Non-exempt $16.00 hourly DOQ with limited benefits.
