Land Use Clerk

The Town of Kensington shall recruit a part-time employee to perform the but not limited to the following tasks: 

•    Prepare and distribute public notices and agendas for meetings and public hearings

•    Record minutes at Board meetings and public hearings

•    Provide administrative and clerical support for Land Use Boards
•    Research and respond to information requests from the general public and Board members
•    Maintain electronic and hard copy records 
•    Receive, review and process applications for the Planning Board

•    Correspond with applicants, engineers & other professionals, RPC Staff, and Board members pertaining to applications

•    Prepare electronic and hard copy deliverable packets for Board members prior to meetings

•    Assist with review of and updates to applicant application materials, procedures, and checklists   

·        Applicant must have some knowledge of Word and Excel programs

·        Assist other departments from time to time when needed

·        Part time with flexible hours

·        Compensation commensurate with experience
