Starting pay rate: $77,254.29 - $93,903.07 a year per the Supervisor Management Alliance (SMA) Salary Schedule and based on experience.
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 7:30am-3:30pm (plus on-call for emergencies)

NATURE OF WORK
Position performs responsible administrative and professional work planning, organization and management of city parks, playgrounds, non-school athletic fields and grounds operations. Position has considerable responsibility in recommending and overseeing the maintenance and improvement of parks, playgrounds, recreation areas, athletic fields, cemeteries, trails, open space, grounds, medians, landscapes City trees and streetscapes. Position is responsible for the planning, assigning, and supervising work crews and equipment as deemed necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A candidate for this position should hold an Associate’s Degree in Parks Management, Horticulture, Green Industry Technology, Landscaping, or a related field, and five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess or be able to obtain an Arborists Certification from the International Society of Arboriculture within twelve months of hire.
