Firefighter

DEPARTMENT:   Portsmouth Fire Department 

POSITION TITLE:  Firefighter

PAY RATE:   Starting compensation range: $42,818 - $47,527 depending on qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:  Applicants should possess NH Firefighter II and NREMT-Advanced.  NREMT-Paramedic is preferred.  Preference given to applicants on the current State of NH Firefighter Candidate List and Lateral Transfers.

SCOPE OF EXAMINATION:

Competitive Examination which includes a personal interview
Finalist must complete pre-employment screening, pre-employment physical, drug testing & background check.
