The Town of Lincoln, New Hampshire, is looking to hire a forward-thinking individual as its next Fire Chief. Appointed by the Town Manager, the Fire Chief is responsible for the overall management, administration, and operational direction of the Lincoln Fire Department.
The department consists of 20 +/- on-call members. The position requires extensive knowledge of firefighting techniques, safety practices, and emergency response systems (e.g., the Incident Command System).
Ideal experience includes successfully implementing changes in fire administration technology and practices, excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders, annual budget preparation, and participation in the technical review of Planning Board applications. Extensive experience with emergency management, strategic planning, and a commitment to continuous improvement to provide the highest level of fire services given the available resources.
· Pay: Negotiable-Monthly Stipend
· Expected hours: 20+/- hours a week (flexible schedule)
