Equipment Operator/Truck Driver/Laborer

The Town of Raymond is seeking applicants for the position of Laborer in the Grounds and Highway Division.  This individual assists in daily maintenance of the Town’s parks, lawns and recreational fields during warm weather months and participates in winter highway maintenance activities during winter months.

 The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic with the knowledge of turf management, horticultural practices and hardscape installation as well as knowledge of snow plowing, paving, stormwater drainage and equipment maintenance and repair. The position requires availability during non-work hours for emergencies such as floods, windstorms and snow and ice storms assisting the Highway Dept. with winter maintenance responsibilities.

 CDL Driver License is preferred.

Finalist must complete a pre-employment screening, drug test, physical and background check.
