Environmental Coordinator

The Environmental Coordinator oversees environmental operations to ensure regulatory compliance and permit renewals, work within Public Works and other Town departments to maintain environmental management and monitoring programs, and maintain complete and clear documentations for environmental operations for reference purposes.  The Coordinator will also be responsible for maintenance and updating of the Town’s stormwater GIS system.

Minimum Requirements: Associates degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Bachelor’s degree preferred) and at least two years of progressive experience with stormwater or water quality inspections and enforcement of environmental regulations OR any equivalent education and experience that demonstrates the possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as determined by the Town. Normal hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with additional hours as required. Starting wage between $27.49 - $31.38/hour, DOE. Health, life, and short- term disability insurance premiums are currently 100% employer paid. Includes paid vacation, sick, & personal leave, and participation in the New Hampshire Retirement System.

The successful candidate will undergo a complete background check including reference checks and criminal and driving record checks prior to final offer of employment.
