Drainage, Reclaim and Paving Projects

The Town of Danville Highway Department is requesting bid proposals for the following Drainage, Reclaim, and Paving projects to be completed by October 31, 2022.  Please break down your prices by section.

  • Candy Lane
  1. 6” Underdrain approximately 450 ft. The contractor is responsible for replacing any gravel and paving disrupted in driveways.
  2. Reclaim, fine grade, and compact approximately 9700 square yards
  3. Pave binder approximately 9700 square yards @ 2.5” – Approximately 1314 Tons of ¾ binder to include tying in all driveways
  4. Tack to be included in price
  5. Pave Top – Approximately 9700 Square yards @ 1.5” – Approximately 788 Ton of ½” Mix tying in all driveways
  6. Price for Mailbox Apron
  7. Price for Flaggers
  • Sawmill Lane
  1. 6” Underdrain approximately 1400 feet; 10” Culvert Pipe approximately 160 feet. The contractor is responsible for replacing any gravel and paving disrupted in driveways
  2. Reclaim fine grade and compact approximately 5600 square yards to include tying in all driveways
  3. Pave binder approximately 5600 square yards @ 2.5” approximately 775 Ton ¾ binder
  4. Tack to be included in price
  5. Pave Topcoat approximately 5600 square yards @ 1.5” approximately 460 Ton of ½ mix tying in all driveways
  6. Price for Mailbox Apron
  7. Price for Flaggers
  • Beach Plain Road
  1. Overlay approximately 1175x24x1.5” – approximately 265 Ton; Tack to be included in price; Cold Planing end joints approximately 3 locations; Tying in all driveways
  2. Price for Flaggers

Appointments with the Road Agent for questions or to discuss the bid specifics must be made at least 24 hours ahead of time, Monday through Friday.  All qualified bidders are encouraged to submit their proposals, which must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly labeled “Town of Danville – 2022 Paving and received in the Town Hall 210 Main Street Danville, NH 03819, at or before 3PM, Monday August 22nd, 2022.  Bids will be opened and publicly reviewed by the Select Board and Road Agent on Monday, August 22nd at their normally scheduled Board of Selectmen’s meeting which begins at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 210 Main Street, Danville.

The bid awardee as well as all bidders will be notified by the Road Agent after all bids are reviewed.

The Town of Danville reserves the right to reject any and all bids, negotiate any contracts, and waive any informalities in the bid process. The bidder must submit documentation for all substitutions and exceptions.
