Camp Supervisor 2021

CAMP SUPERVISOR, Temporary Summer Position, Parks & Recreation Department, City of Concord, New Hampshire



Applicants must be dependable, enjoy working with youth and families and have good communication and problem solving skills. All applicants must have current Red Cross First Aid and Infant & Child and Adult CPR. Prior camp experience is desired. Have the ability to supervise a summer camp staff of approximately 13 employees at multiple camps. Applicants must be 18 years or older and will be required to pass a Criminal Background Check and  NH Drivers check


Works under the general supervision of the Parks & Recreation Assistant Director.

The ability to plan, direct, and supervise all traditional all day camp programs.

Exercises supervision over camp staff on a day to day basis. Depending on the summer there will around 13

employees to supervise.

Arranges staff schedules to insure proper coverage at all times.

Organize and plan day trips for camp program.

Completes all required paperwork in a timely manner such as time sheets, attendance reports and maintenance


Administers First Aid and CPR when necessary.

Follows established procedures regarding accidents, discipline or mechanical problems. 

Follows and enforces department rules and regulations.

Directs all suggestions from the public to their Supervisor. 

Strives to establish positive public relations for the Recreation Department and the City of Concord.

May be required to lift items that weigh more than 25 lbs.

Work Hours:

Available  Monday – Friday, 7:30a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Salary Range:  $15.30 – $17.78, hourly.
