The Town of Pelham, NH is seeking applications for a new fulltime position of Building/Plumbing Inspector. Previously, the Building Inspector and Plumbing Inspector were separate, stipend positions. As a result of the growth of our community, these stipend positions were combined into one fulltime position.
Appointed by the Board of Selectmen, the Building/Plumbing Inspector reports to the Planning Director and Town Administrator. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the building, construction, gas, plumbing trades is preferred. Must be reliable and dependable; work independently using own judgement and discretion; ability to pass a background check; ability to understand and abide by State, Federal Building and Plumbing codes. The Building/Plumbing Inspector will receive $85,000 per year plus benefits as compensation. Work hours may vary but shall not exceed 40 hours per week.
