Bid Construction Assistance - Water Transmission Line

Bids are due at the Lancaster Town Hall, RE: Board of Selectmen, 25 Main Street, Lancaster, NH 03584 prior to 4pm by September 13, 2024.

The Town of Lancaster is seeking bids from construction firms to provide construction services for a main water line transmission brook crossing. Materials will be provided by the Town. Estimated work to start in late September.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Company overview including location of headquarters, number of years in business, insurance and types of construction services offered.
  • Relevant experience including three stream diversion projects.
  • Availability.
  • Three client references.
  • Designated lead contact. 

SELECTION PROCESS:

The approving authorities shall consider “best overall value” when reviewing purchases of any amount. “Best overall value” shall be determined by considering: price, quality, warranty, service, availability, past vendor performance, and references. The successful bidder shall secure and maintain for the duration of the resulting Agreement a General Liability Insurance coverage of not less than Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000). The Select Board retains the right to refuse all bids.
