Administrative Assistant (Part-time)

The Town of Sullivan, NH is seeking qualified applicants to serve as the Town’s part-time administrative assistant.   This is a multi-faceted position and includes, but is not limited to, customer service, processing purchase orders/ payables, record keeping, agenda preparation/minute taking, website maintenance.  Required minimum skills:  Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; customer service and basic accounting skills.  Ability to multi-task is essential as is the need to learn and understand municipal regulations.  Municipal government, financial/budgeting experience is a plus. 

The position will be approximately 16 hours per week though from time to time it may be necessary to attend evening meetings.  The hours are Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM (est) and Tuesday – Thursday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  Pay is commensurate with experience.  Benefits include pro-rated vacation and holidays.
