Recreation Attendant (Part-time)

City of Concord

Temporary up to 20 hours per week

Parks and Recreation attendants are responsible for providing great customer service to program participants and their guardians. Duties will include front desk supervision at the community center and assisting with programs like our soccer and basketball leagues.

REQUIREMENTS:

Works under the general supervision of the Assistant Recreation Director.

Assist with the supervision, safety and accident prevention of youth enrolled in various programs.

Will be required to unlock and lock community centers and set up equipment as needed for classes and programs.        

Maintains accurate attendance records and completes necessary paperwork in a timely manner.

May be assigned to work at one of our programs for part of a day or week to assist with participants, or be asked to conduct activities of a specialized nature. 

Directs all suggestions from the public to their Supervisor.  Strives to establish positive public relations for the Recreation Department and the City of Concord.                                                         

Follows and enforces department rules and regulations.

Be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Passing a driver history and criminal background check is required for this job.  

HOURS:  Varied schedule, up to 20 hours per week

STARTING PAY RANGE:   $9.18 - $10.76 hourly DOQ
