Office Clerk (Part-time)

The North Hampton Police Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Part Time Office Clerk. The applicant will provide administrative and clerical support to the Chief of Police, Administrative Assistant, and other police department personnel. The position is a part-time requiring 20 hours a week. Hours for this position will be Monday through Friday to be determined. This position pays $18.00/hour for 20 hours of work each week. This is a non-benefit position.

The duties include receiving customers, typing, filing, data entry, record keeping, telephone, provides assistance over the phone or email and paper correspondence in a professional and courteous manner, and performs other related tasks and duties as assigned. Must have the ability to interact with people, communicate effectively, and handle tasks simultaneously.

A qualified applicant must have demonstrable skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with an Associate's Degree or equivalent credits earned are preferred. Applicants must be 21 years old by the anticipated date of appointment. The successful applicant must pass an extensive background check.
