Life Insurance
Life insurance means different things to different people. Depending upon a member's age and lifestyle, it can either be taken for granted, or considered a critical provision for a family's financial security. For an employer, it is a valuable and relatively inexpensive benefit for attracting and retaining employees.

As with all other LGC HealthTrust benefit offerings, life insurance programs are backed up with outstanding customer support and a commitment to service excellence.
TERM LIFE INSURANCE
LGC HealthTrust offers a number of term life insurance options that are designed to cost-effectively provide financial protection for employees and their families. Coverage amounts may be based on annual salary - such as one or two times a member's salary - or in flat dollar amounts such as $30,000 or $50,000.
Term life insurance coverage for eligible family members (spouses and children up to age 19, or full-time students up to age 25) is available at favorable group rates. Coverage may be converted without evidence of insurability in the event an employee terminates employment, or a dependent no longer qualifies under the plan.
Accidental Death and Dismemberment
Additional life insurance coverage is provided in the event of an individual member's accidental death, as well as in cases of certain disabling injuries, such as the loss of eyesight or limbs.
LGC HealthTrust's plan also offers special features, such as an Employee Accelerated Benefit and a Seat Belt Enhancement Benefit, at no additional cost.
SUPPLEMENTAL LIFE INSURANCE
Supplemental life insurance provides an affordable way for employees to supplement their basic life insurance coverage at favorable group rates. Through LGC HealthTrust, coverage is available for up to two or three times a member's salary. In order to make it easy for member groups to offer this valuable benefit, the minimum participation rate is only 25 percent of eligible employees.
