Affiliate Group Services Program

The New Hampshire Local Government Center’s (LGC) Affiliate Group Services Program (AGSP) provides administrative, design, event management and financial services to LGC affiliate groups. With LGC sharing the responsibility of managing these tasks related to running a strong organization, we hope that our affiliate groups will be free to focus time and resources on achieving their goals and focusing on their missions.

About the Program

Who can participate?

Any organized group of local government professionals that is recognized by the New Hampshire Local Government Center as an affiliate group may be eligible to participate in the Affiliate Group Services Program. To determine if your organization is eligible please contact us. We would be glad to arrange for a customized presentation to your board by a member of our staff.

Affiliate groups participating in the Affiliate Group Services Program reimburse LGC
for direct costs such as postage and out-of-house printing. AGSP services are provided through existing in-house resources and are available at the discretion of LGC's Executive Director.

The following services are available through the Affiliate Group Services Program:

Board of Directors Support

• Make meeting arrangements
• Mail notices and agendas
• Reproduce and circulate board minutes
• Maintain central files
• Receive and route organizational mail
• Provide one-time by-laws review

Membership, Database and Mailing Services

• Track member contact data
• Track financial information
• Provide member data reports
• Print and distribute membership certificates
• Process membership mailings
• Data collection
• Manage inventory and distribution of membership directories

Event Management Services

• Provide membership meeting planning and logistics
• Provide annual conference planning and logistics
• Handle publicity and promotion
• Facility/caterer negotiation
• Maintain training participation records
• Tabulate program evaluations

Financial Services

• Send out member dues invoices and follow-up notices
• Process accounts receivable
• Process accounts payable
• Prepare federal and/or state nonprofit tax returns
• Manage investments

Graphic Design Services

• Design logo
• Design and print membership brochure
• Design and print membership directory
• Design and print newsletter
• Design and print letterhead
• Design and print conference materials
• Facilitate printing of materials designed by group

Web Design Services

• Provide Web site hosting
• Manage domain registration
• Design Web site
• Maintain Web site
