There seems to be some confusion regarding the Mortgagee Identification Criteria that was forwarded to all of our members. This sample includes a list of all of the different types of creditors that may be on file at the Registry of Deeds. By state statute (RSA 80:65 and RSA 80:77-a) we are required to notify mortgage holders.  Some tax collectors may wish to go beyond what the law requires and have all lien holders on record notified.
